Spatially Distributed Surface Energy Fluxes

Hydrology and Remote Sensing Lab

Remotely Sensed data collected from an aircraft-based sensor (NS001) and from a Landsat TM scene over the Walnut Gulch Experimental Watershed in sourthern Arizona were used in conjunction with a network of ground-based meterological-flux stations and atmospheric sounding observations for computing spatially distributed surface energy fluxes.

Net Radiation = Soil Heat Flux + Sensible Heat Flux + Latent Heat Flux

Energy Fluxes, 120m Energy Fluxes, 1km
